We are a boutique kennel that operates out of our home in a suburb north of Detroit. Our breeding program is a hobby I have chosen to pursue in my retirement. I believe in responsible breeding with an emphasis on preserving and promoting what I believe is a wonderful, historic breed that is ideal both on the farm and in the suburbs. Our dogs live and sleep with us in our home. They have been on a raw food diet for two years. When we switched Emily (at 3 years of age) we could not get over the improvement in her coat, her energy level and her appetite. Meora has always been on a raw food diet. I will not breed my dogs before they have been health tested for dysplasia at two years of age. I will not breed my females more than every other heat cycle. And, I have fallen in love with every puppy we have produced, so I am extremely cautious about which homes they go to. I will not ship my puppies on airplanes but I will try to meet a family half way by car if they 'pass muster'. We have many testimonials on this site from people who bought puppies from our first litter. |
