JACQUI, WE NEED TO SEND YOU NEW PICTURES, KEARY IS JUST GEORGOUS. THEY WENT FOR RABIES SHOTS LAST WEEK, SHE'S 39# AND WHISKEY IS 49# WHEN THEY GET TOGETHER THEY ARE QUITE A PAIR. I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY GET ALL THEIR ENGERGY!!! THEY GO TILL THEY ABSOLUTELY DROP. THE VET IS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH HER. AMANDA TAKES HER EVERYWHERE WITH HER AND THE KIDS ARE GETTING READY TO TAKE HER TO FAIR. NOT OBD YET, BUT 4-H BEGINNING STUFF. YOU HAD ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LITTERS OF PUPS THAT I'VE SEE, DID YOU EVER HEAR FROM CLEONE OR AL AGAIN? I WAS SO LUCKY TO HAVE BOTH DOGS BROUGHT SO CLOSE TO HOME. I'LL SEND PICTURES SOON. Last Saturday mom and I took Keary and Whiskey to a herding clinic/party. We went more for her and I to learn what kinds of things we should be learning, more as just spectators than anything. When we got there we were talked into working the dogs in a small pen with instruction. Keary was very excited all day long and wasn't quite sure what she thought about those funny looking animals since she had never seen a sheep before. I was nervous because she had never herded anything but the kids before, I was really hoping she was going to eat one of those sheep.

Finally it was our turn and in the pen we went as soon as the gate closed she sat down and looked at me and just waited to be told what to do. I let Jim the man giving the clinic work her because I didn't know what to do. She went from her typical ball of energy to all about business in seconds. She worked them sheep like a pro, It was like she had been doing it since birth, and every once in a while she would run over to me to let me know how much fun she was having. When Keary and Jim were done working Jim again asked me what we work at home and I said nothing really she keeps the kids together in the yard and follows the horses every once in a while but I have never asked her to do anything. He was very impressed and said such a natural talent needs to have some sheep or goats or something to play with it would be a waste of she didn't.

Once again thank you for our beautiful part of the family I have never been so happy with a dog as I am with Keary.
